Na man, Like I said I have been boating forever I feel at home in a kayak. The days of running anything over 30 ft are over but these young snowboarders, stunt riders on bikes, free solo climbers are nuts. I guess it all what you are used to. I only ran a few hard creeks this year. I teach alot of kids how to roll and stuff now.

Some, but not all, of my finger joints are doubles. I cut off part of my left thumb with a hatchet, don't try to split wood with a hatchet, and had it reattached. I have 38 hobbies.

yea the gualey is one of the few rivers that is fun to raft. It really has a big water feel to it. october they run about 2000cfs of water through it (cubic feet per second) I caught it 3 years ago on leave at 18000cfs after some floods. I was scared shitless, took us only 30 minutes to run the whole upper. I was white knuckled. 40 and 50 foot waves, pillow rock did not exist, the water was all they way over pillow rock and sweet falls was HUGE. God man I could talk and post pics of kayaking all day

Oh man I think Sweets falls was where we hit that vertical drop. They told us it was about a 15' drop but it really felt and looked like it was higher than that. I would definitely do that trip again if I got the opportunity. It was a two day trip...first day was the lower and second was the upper.

yea its the last rapid on the upper gualey, its not a legit drop its about a 70 degree drop but it is a legit 15 footer. It rolls into a curler wave. If you like that stuff look up kayaking, try running the same river in a 5 foot kayak that fits like a glove instead of a 16ft raft. Its good times. If you are interested shoot me a pm and I can give you a list of resources. The gualey is hard to beat in north america for rafting though

lol shoot with a kayak i'd probably end up stuck upside down in one of those undercut rocks. i'm nowhere near as experienced to ride down that by myself. i hear the grand canyon is like the #1 spot...you ever been down there?

the grand canyon is uhhh grand. there are parts that are all flat and some is big water. I have run a few sections but I still perfer the gualey. Maybe cause I grew up smoking weed skipping school an kayaking it and I miss the no worries fun I use to have on it. Its not a biggener run you would have to have a season or two under your belt but its not a hard run either. The stikine or slave river in british coloumbia is pretty huge compared to anything in the US. Shit just noticed your in flordia, not much whitewater there. If you boat long enough and hard enough you will have some rough times though. I have been stuck in a hole and washed out unconsious, a buddy cleared my lungs and saved me that was on toxaway in north carolina. I have been stuck under an undercut on the chatooga section 4 in 5 falls and had to crawl out and have bailed outta my boat right as it folded in a sieve on fantisy falls. It goes with the terriory, I dont really run the gnar that much any more. All hard shit isnt as sexy as it looks either. For that 78 fter I scouted for a week and spent like 4 hours repelling and climbing to set saftey. Its pretty normaly to climb more than kayak and spend 3 hours leapfrogging safteys for a 10 minute run.

Actually, I didn't. I played baseball and basketball until I was about 13, and bowling in high school. Well actually when I worked at the bowling alley they told us it's a recreation, not a sport, but I have a varsity letter from it.lol

Always different times. Usually though I'm just sitting still like when eating dinner or watching tv. Never happens when driving or working.

LMAO. So true. Her and Oprah would definitely trigger it. And it sucks cause my wife and mother-in-law love Rosie and Oprah. This is why I keep plenty of margarita mix and tequila in the house.

my theory is that with all the sport playing your body deposited calcium on certain nerve ending thus cause the random "cold chill" every now and then. But i just say he has mild terrets
