Glad u went with your instinct & am glad Julie wasn't by herself.
That scene you described is best dealt with what I call your "something seems amiss" meter. :violent:
Those are the times I have learned to pay attention to.
Worse is when the hair stands up on the back of my neck.
Its easier to say sorry I thought you were going to rob me than wishing you did after the fact especially when the "meter" is pointing to possible trouble.

When someone is looking for help that signal doesn't go off, at least for me.

As far as calling the Police, heck yeah!
I have done that and am glad you did too. Rather safe than sorry ....sounds like the dude was looking for trouble, saw the hardware & went elsewhere...sick folks need an good @$$kicking imo not hand holding therapy.

LOL!! Thats exactly what the cop I talked to said! She said the good thing about an incodent like this is, the dude will likely tell a friend or 2 about the the dude carrying a gun, and it could wake them up to realize they shoudl get a real job.

Its always better to err on the side of caution. If he really wanted to Fk with you, he couldve called 911 and said you flashed your gun at him or some shit. You should always call if it seems fishy.

Or maybe he couldn't resist the urge of seeing you in your tight ass shorts! :D But good to hear nothing bad happened and that you notified the cops...even late.

Great job Chris..you went over and above the steps to avoid a possible confrontation. Obviously the bad guy had intent on doing you harm. I think you and the wife can articulate this. Glad you were armed. An armed and educated society is a safe society.
