Greetings. I have a 2008 Tacoma and am looking to buy/trade the black A/C control unit, and black automatic transmission plastic surround for my silver.

Anyone interested in trading or does anyone know of a surplus site that would sell these 2 units?

The dealer says he can't order them because my parts are silver and that is what comes up when he searches by VIN. Smart guy huh.

You can't get just the plastic for the A/C control unit, you have to buy the whole thing and it is very, very pricey.

If it's that pricey for new ones, couldn't you just take them off and paint them black?

Yeah. I could do that. Would rather not though.
