Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
I had a set in my '04, mounted to the inside of the tailgate. I generally used them to secure a jerry can or two. When I traded the '04, I kept them and they'll probably go in the same spot on the '12. I expect I'll need to do some reinforcing of the tailgate first, though.

They work really well and I've been happy with them.

Box Rocket mounted something similar to his roof racks as a tie down point for each rail. Seemed to work pretty good to me. Only doubt I would have about this on in particular is I would want to know the durability/quality of it, and find a really good way to mount it. It won't do much good to have something secured to a rail but the rail isn't secured to the truck well enough. If those two qualms were addressed I would get it. Just look into that first.

These look like the ones Mac's Tie Downs offers. I've run them on my Jeep for years and would certainly put them on my bed if the the stock rails weren't already there. You can plug the rings in anywhere at one inch intervals and they've held everything from tools, to coolers, to full jerry cans, to broken axles over some really rough terrain. Odd shaped loads are their specialty. I've never had an issue with them, but I had some problems with a strap I bought from Mac's. One call and I was taken care of. They really stand behind their products. I'm definitely building these in when I get around to making my roof rack.

I have the military tie downs for the track but haven't gotten around to adding the track. I was going to run 2 tracks somewhere in the bed floor but after adding a bedmat I really have no other option than cutting slots out of the mat to fit the track, and haven't quite brought myself to be willing to do that.

Mac's always seemed overpriced to me. Quality might be higher I guess? I know BoxRocket said he used uscargocontrol for his track once, and he always builds tough gear and sources good materials it seems. They don't carry 3' tracks but do have 2 and 4 ft lengths, plus it seems to be slightly cheaper than OP's link if you piece the kit together.

This stuff goes by many names...L-track, O-track, airline track, etc.
