I bought a 2000 Base model a few months back, which needed a little TLC.

I am adding power windows and locks, but I havent been able to find a color that matches the OEM brown. I tried to go with a gray that looked closer to the interior door panels center section, but its just too different. I also purchased a few different door handles, hoping they would match, but they are way too dark. I do understand the truck is almost 19 year sold and there is some fading going to happen, but i'd like to try and find the factory color in an spray can online, but I am coming up with several options for oak.

    Any suggestions?

All I could find on the interior color code from my original stick was "FB45". That is apparently the color code that you want; mine is the same color interior as yours. Seems like you could find the exact color handles tho without too much problem.

Here's a website that should have a paint to match:

My build sheet says "FF40" as my interior code.

Interesting; mine is a 2001 base. Surprised that they seem to be a different code; they sure do look the same.

Thanks for the write up! I already have the A1-Electric direct bolt in kit. I happen to snag it on Ebay for an owner who sold his truck before the install.

Luckily, they have a good write up on their own install kit. https://www.a1electric.com/tacoma.htm

I have the window switch kit too, just painting it to match has been a struggle. I'm wanting to get it all painted before I take on this task.

Make sure you post pictures. I’ve never seen that system installed before on here, I actually looked at it before I did my swap.

Thanks for the link. I wonder why there would be 2 different SEM codes for the same color? I'm thinking of grabbing a can locally if I can find a distributor and seeing how it matches.
