So lately I've noticed there's a large amount of condensation on the inside of all 8 (includes sliding back glass) windows on my 14 DC. It's extremely annoying since the truck isn't even a year old yet (January). I literally just drove for 20 minutes with defrost on with temp in the middle then ran heat on full blast upper and lower vents, had to wipe all windows with paper towels. Now I'm noticing my driver side, only driver side, tweeter speaker shroud paint is bubbling and I just pulled some off because it was flaked ImageUploadedByTapatalk1414673038.617696.jpg

Should I bring this in? It seems extremely severe from everything else I've been reading.

Edit: I live in New York, humid climate, but didn't have this problem in the winter when I first got the truck back in January.

That sounds unusual, so I would take it in. The only time I ever had that on any vehicle was for a day or so after a LOT of rain where I had to climb in and out multiple times getting the seats and/or carpet significantly wet. Or some liquid spill or water leaking inside from an AC drain for example.

Or I almost forgot, a few times when accidentally leaving a window open overnight during heavy dew conditions.

Very strange OP... I've never had this issue other than leaving windows cracked in a storm.
Dry the shit out of your truck with the heat cranked on high.

We had this same problem with my wife's older Jeep Grand Cherokee. The door seals were very inadequate and allowed a lot of moisture in during the cooler weather when it was more noticeable. The. In the winter, frost would form on the inside of the windows. Dealer replaced all the rubber seals but the problem kept coming back. Fought the issue for close to ten years. I hated that truck anyways and just wanted to get rid of it. Mostly for many of the other Jeep/Chrysler issues. Bought her a new RAV4 and she's a happy camper now.
Get it to your dealer. ASAP

Def gonna bring it in, I checked other threads, I have left the defrost/bottom vent switch on but it seems way worse, I'll see what happens tonight when I run the heat, on top/bottom vent hopefully it's good, gotta schedule 10k service anyway

My first thought is that you have a leak in a seal somewhere, I experienced that in a bunch of Jeep Cherokees. Failure to address this issue results in you truck smelling like the inside of a sweaty gym shoe.

Check your floor boards to see if thery're wet.
You may have a water leak somewhere or a restricted a/c drain pipe.

Or your windshield for leaks. You don't experience any weird wind noises do you?

Or tiny leak from the heater core putting out warm/moist air when the heat is on, but I certainly wouldn't suspect that with a fairly new Toyota.

My '14 got a plugged ac drain line, so with the ac running (as it is in defrost mode) instead of dripping on the ground it was dripping on the floor on the passenger side under the dash. Worth checking anyways.

Real men just call it camping
Check under all floor matts for dampness. I had a very small pin hole in the passenger side firewall (new from factory) that gave me the same issue. A few trucks ago.

Yes, +1. Especially depending on what kind of activities are occurring inside the truck, with the windows rolled up. :D:D:D

Isnt there supposed to be a vent in the cab that keeps air moving? Maybe that is stuck shut

No wetness under floor mats, no wind noise from windshield ever, the only thing I've done was run a few wires up to the bay through that grommet upper left of firewall but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

It's kept outside, but I ran the heat on blast earlier today and when it got cold I the windows are fine so far since I didn't leave defrost on earlier. Maybe that really is the problem, we'll see tomorrow morning

As mentioned above. Do you have it set to recirculate??

Turn recirc OFF and rip that stupid option out of the truck.

It's only good for AC and I wonder even at that

Always set the blower to the foot option to keep the floor dry through the wet and winter season.

I would wonder if the plastic vapor barrier was installed correctly, or installed at all in the doors. Definitely bring it in, that's not normal.

Recirc always off, I set it to face/foot all day and I haven't had the problem so it seems that's the case maybe I just think that's stupid with the defrost that it stays open
