    I have a 2015 Tacoma withe silver trim air vents and silver around the shifter. Ive seen black ones like in these photos. Ive seen some people have them and that an old inactive account used to make them, I do not want to paint or wrap them. any help would be much appreciated

    I thought you were once able to buy the vent surround from toyota in black but I don't think you could with the shifter surround. I think you will have to get custom on this one, OP.

    Accessing them wasn't hard, just a little time consuming. You start with the lower kick panel and door sill, and work your way up to get the instrument cluster out. Each ring is clipped in, which you need to access from the back. A couple coats of spray paint and a couple coats of clear over a few days and it looked great. I cheated by buying new rings in advance and painting them at my leisure, which means I didn't have to be as careful taking the old ones off.

    For my 2015 DCLB they were less than $40 for all three rings back in 2021.
