Interior lights on Gen 1

I just got LEDs for my dome and maps light on my 2004 Gen 1. Here are my questions.


Has anyone found an easy way to tie the map lights in the front to the dome light in the middle so that the map light will come on when you open the door? In other words, make the map lights work like the dome light with a ON, OFF, and DOOR function?


Has onyone found a clear replacement lense for the dome light? Mine is milky and the map lights are clear.

I don't know if it works for the first gen but there is a mod for the second gen that works.

The map lights work as normal but if you set the dome to "Door" or "On" the map lights will come on as well.
