All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I had some lying around and stuck them on there. They worked well, also found some other cheap bags/kits at the army surplus.
I will say give yourself another day to mess around with how you want your pouches laid out.
Once it’s up, weaving the molle behind it can be a pain, not horrible...just makes more sense to do it while it’s off.
Did I do it this way, of course not. I threw the rack up there and then put the pouches up. Giving good advise and using it...

Yea -- that's what I plan to do after reading some of the posts here haha.

So if you need to take a pouch off for some reason.. it's going to be a complete PITA to get back up I can imagine unless you take the rack off?

Do you just leave the bags/pouches where they are "permanently" and just take out what you need overhead and stuff it back in afterwards?

No it’s really not that bad. Taking them off and putting them back. So you will notice will putting them on, the molle holes are spaced too far apart to lace the molle every hole, as you will run out of strap before you can snap it.
So, do the slack mans molle run thru. Which is the best way you can.
Then, put your stuff in as needed. My stuff stays in there, as they are all things needed.

Yea I figured I'll have a 6x6 first aid kit.. got a 6x10 big pouch for some MTB stuff and a couple of 6x6 regular pouches.. I figure they'll all stay up there and I'll grab what I need when needed.

These 5.11 pouches seem to fit great even without weaving the strap. The zippers should face forward for easy access -- right? Trying to figure out if I want to go all black or mix in some OD green.

I went for a 10x6, a 6x6 med pouch, and a 6x6 pouch.. gotta return one of the med pouches. I think I would've went all OD green but they don't have the 10x6 in that color and I figured that pouch would be a good one for a bunch of misc shit.

I am thinking I'll return the black med pouch and mix in the OD green? Decisions...

Did anyone ever determine if these work with an access cab?

Anyone have some tips on removing the handles? I am trying to pry the plastic with a small flat head but it looks like the plastic is bending? Meso’s instructions show removal for the clips not the handles not sure if I am doing something wrong or just being way too careful..

So my little plastics caps on the handles were being a pain as well.
I stuck the Screwdriver blade in the little pry hole and gave it a twist, as though I was backing out a screw. Now I scratched the shit out of those little caps, but they won’t be used again, so who cares. After messing around for a bit, I got irritated and basically ripped them off.
