Could be that your 2” bolts are snuggled up against a hard stop other than the molle rack. (The tip of the bolts are being stopped by sheet metal because they are too long)
    :notsure:
    Just a thought.

might be a pain in the ass, take off the rack and use the tool you used to put them in and repress them. You might need to adjust your gun to make it tighter. There is a dial on the back side.

first I would go to each corner to find out if and which one is lose.

another easy option is to retighten your screws and see if any are lose. Tightening them might help secure the nuts if they get tighter. If you have one screw keep spinning then you know you have a lose nut.

edit: are you using the 2” screws with your grab handles? If your not using the handles I would put the 1 1/2” screws on. Might have too much play

Anybody have any photos of the rack with a rifle strapped into it? I’m curious if an adult can still sit in the back with it up there.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Keeping in mind that some states (looking at you, Illinois) really frown upon people who drive around with rifles attached to their cars lol

Correct. Please check with your local laws about firearms in vehicles. Although this is America, land of the free...there are certain draconian states that think otherwise.
But an SBR hanging on the roof(properly secured) is pretty badass:infantry:

thankfully I live in the Republic of Texas, so that isn’t an issue for me. Due to fear of theft, I wouldn’t keep a gun up all the time though. I just wanted a place to keep my rifles when out on the deer lease.
