Oh hell yeah, I like that idea. Think it'll be compatible/combinable with your OG overhead rack?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Always get comments on my candy dispenser on my Molle rack!

Thanks for the heads up, I looked into this setup a couple of weeks ago. I'm looking for something more robust that follows the contour of the head liner better and not plastic. I would need it to hold either a VP9 with a 20 mag or VP9sk with a full mag as I rotate between the 2. It would have to hold up to aggressive pulls/push-ins out of and into a kydex holster that would be permanently attached. Along with the ability to secure a decent IFAC and admin pouch. Not to much to ask!

I love them both, they both have Lazy Wolf Triggers installed and some other goodies.

I'm glad you're thinking about it, so thanks for that. My thoughts were for one complete fore-to-aft piece. You could tie it into/under the front overhead console like I've seen some do, and pull the dome light & tie it into those supports. You'd have to relocate the dome light onto it, but then how to tie it into the rear without dropping the headliner?

I'd want to be able to re-mount the stock dome light and add a second dome light in the rear. And hey, while I'm maybe asking for the impossible (might as well go for it), the rear light could be like the overhead directable 'nozzle' lights on a plane.

Is that square notch on the sunroof version for the interior dome lights to stick through?

I’ll get some better pics today of how the OEM dome light mounts to the hex rack. It’s pretty slick:)

So the light attaches to the rack itself, not the original housing?
