    The answer is either a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, or if she was nice enough to let you buy the truck, you should let her sit the way she wants. :)

    Is it possible that the graphite-like trim you spoke of was "hydro dipped"? Some neat possibilities with that technique on the piece you are trying to fix.

    My daughter bit through the black soft neoprene-like textured edging below the rear passenger window on about day 3- still trying to find a way to cover the gouges.

    Haven't heard of hydro dipping, I'm interested in how that works

    @D-Ron, thanks for the tips, will try that when I have a moment.

    That made me laugh. At the end of the day, she's totally worth it.

    @OnHartung'sRoad,

    Fair enough. Not really the look I'm after, but thanks for sharing.

    Truuu I gave up on that years ago. Got my 2015 and the first mod was her toe prints. However I only let her feet up there when we are not around traffic, don't want her legs broken...

    I don't even understand how you put your feet there.

    Thankfully my wife understands how particular I am because her mother is the same way.

    When we go meet the in laws the mother in law and I are parking next to each other in the back for added protection.

    I got you Joan. I got you.

    Further research indicates the door panel is one ENTIRE piece, so no hope of just doing the damaged part.

    Oh no it's not the whole panel. Switch panel is like 46 bucks.

    I wish. That looks like just the switch bezel, and not the painted plastic trim panel. Unless I'm totally misreading the diagram.

    The part is listed as having color options with this being gunmetal. The actual switch panel looks matte black which is probably the same across all models so I think it's the whole piece. May be wrong but worth a call to parts dept
