    Hey all.

my 98 came with the light blue interior. Looking to update it to grey. Also interested in upgrading the seats to buckets from a 4Runner.

Are 4Runner seats A direct bolt in? Which center consoles are out there that are a direct bolt in? Do the door cards from the front doors of a 4Runner bolt onto the Tacoma doors?

Any other updates / upgrades of stock Tacoma or 4Runner interior parts.

thanks for your time reading this.

You have the luck of not having side airbags; Don't quote me on this, but I believe T4R buckets will fit your truck...

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
one mount wont line up on the 4runner buckets. its well documented here.

as for grey interior your best bet is to find a wreaked 01-04 tacoma and take its whole interior.

Also of you are talking about the darker grey from the 95.5 to 97 the dash will not work for you. 98 and newer have the passanger airbag 97 and older do not. You can see the difference in colors the shift bezel is 95.5 to 97 and the center console is 01 to 04.

4Runner seats aren’t bolt on. One leg requires cutting and welding the Tacoma foot onto it.

It looks like you added the extra cup holders and center console from one of the 01-04. I did the same thing and the colors are different. The interior of my 97' is tan and the center console/ cupholder is gray.60790170302__A35790FA-FCC5-482E-8C4A-25927DB1D85C.jpg

Idk if it interests you but I see your cup holder retainer flaps are missing just like mine are when I did the conversion too recently. If you’re interested in replacing those like I am here are the part numbers.

that could be a tough cookie :notsure: most wreaked ones at the scrapyard locally i have seen are in quite rough or worse condition
but there are usually only 3 or 4 to choose from at any one time

I don't I was planning to but the unit is getting a little old and slow. I will probably just get a new head unit.
