    Hey guys

I’ve for a while known of the issues that can cause this problem (bad relay which I’ve swapped more than once) and the pickup sensor on the compressor going bad BUT I’ve recently noticed if my truck is running but the hoods opened it will not start flashing.
Any ideas? Could the issue be related to high temperatures in the engine bay?

    Thanks

    MARK

Have a look at the compressor clutch. Does it appear to have rubber bubbled up....

Look at the compressor clutch coil to see if the rubber has been overheated and bubbled. You may just need a new AC Clutch Assembly.

I think since I’m having other problems with my A/C i should throw in a new compressor since I’m already replacing the expansion valve as
    Well as the discharge hose
