Intermittent Brake Issue, TRD Off Road

    Yeah, mine started doing what you are describing yesterday. Went on a long trip and found that I needed to mentally think a little before applying the brakes as they were grabbing harder than before so I was preparing for surprises.
    So I may have to replace the parts sooner than this winter. I also noticed that there seems to be a part number revision on these parts, at least for the 6-speeds. That would also apply to the '12-'15 6 speeds. Not sure yet about the automatics yet. I wonder why they gave new part numbers??

    No telling i know they had a recall or safety bulletin on the electronic brakes but dont think it was the tacoma possibly the corolla since i think they use alot of the same parts for that car but not sure…. Very odd

    It may have been the 4Runner as it had a near identical system at the time and one can find a number of posts complaining of issues with that system. Also I believe that one of the Toy techs on this forum has commented to me such. Its hard to find info as to why there have been part number changes as Toy is typically mum about this. But there is some reason.

    IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE SOME ISIGHT ON THIS TTYPE OF STUFF... ALWAYS HAS TO BE HUSH HUSH SO THEY DONT LOOK BAD...
