I've got a front right signal lamp that seems inactive (it's not the bulb), while I was checking that out, I could hear what sounded like a trapped wasp buzzing its wings. But then I noticed it had a regular cycle, about 1 second long, about every 20 seconds or so. So I opened the hood and tried pinpointing the source. It appears to be coming from either in or under the fuse box.

Anyone else had an experience like this? And could this be connected to the signal light socket not working properly, or is it likely a separate issue?

That buzzing is normal I believe I read it’s the gas pressure balancing.

Actually after doing a search here, someone else commented on a similar phenomenon - it might actually be coming from the emissions box beside the fuse panel.

I experienced this, but not in a car. It was a house wire, chewed through and arcing against metal cabinets in an old house. Of course it tripped the breaker. And another time in another house, but this time it wasn’t a wire, it was a remnant of plastic underneath the edge shingle just above the facia board at the roof. The wind would blow and that little bit of thin plastic would flap so fast it sounded like a beehive in the house. Then another time I heard that noise, it was actual wasps. Good luck hunting it down.

It takes the excess antimatter disperses it into a flux capacitor that speeds it up to quantum velocity and then filters it with a charcoal canister before it is re-released into the warp nacelles. Creating a friendly gas for you local hippie to inhale.

Yeah..... let you how they function.....
....if it goes bad its over $200 for a new one....
rumor is when they start going out, some start making that purge noise more often....
All thats tied into the egr loop...Toyota's virtual cylinder volume reduction.....believe all that information died with Tucker.....

Usually when you get a code for these, it means time for a new gas cap.....
