Long time lurker but I can't find anything like my issue so I figured I'd post here and see if anyone has any advice. This is quite the story so apologies for it being so long!

So I have a 2019 Tacoma, access cab, 6MT, TRD OR (I'm in Canada so that's a combo can we get up here) and for the past year I've been having issues with a intermittent check engine light.

In February of 2021 I was driving home from Northern Alberta after work got shut down due to the extreme cold (-40⁰C) About 3 hours into my journey the check engine light came on and the truck went into limp mode. I checked the codes with my Bluetooth OBD reader and the Torque App and I had codes P0300 (multiple random misfires) and codes P0301 to P0306 (misfires in cylinders 1-6) The truck was running rough so I pulled over, cleared the codes and turned the truck off and back on and everything was fine. I stopped at a gas station and bought some gas line antifreeze because I thought the fuel lines might be icing up due to the extreme cold. After this I continued on for another 2 hours with no further issues. When I got home I took the truck to the dealership and they couldn't replicate the issue but replaced the fuel pump as part of the recall and said that would fix the issue. 2 days later I left for work again and about 1 hour into my drive the check engine light came on again and the truck started running rough. So I pulled over, checked the codes (same as before), cleared them and carried on my travels with no further issues. I then took the truck to another dealership and they couldn't replicate the issue either. They did say I may have gotten contaminated fuel and I do believe that may have been the issue as I did fill up at an older, shittier gas station before I left the first time. They reccomended I fill up with premium for a few tanks and call it good. So I did that and didn't have any further issues. The weather also started to warm up at this point in the year as well.

Throughout the spring and Sumner I continued to run premium fuel and didn't have any other issues.

Fast forward to December of 2021 and I'm driving to work (I got a new job in the city so my commute went from 5 hours to 30 minutes lol) It's about -30⁰C at this point and the truck goes into limp mode, check engine light comes on and runs rough. Same codes as before. Take the truck immediately to the dealership across from work and leave it with them. They can't replicate the issue again and I'm told the truck is designed to run premium and I'm running the incorrect fuel and I shouldn't let my tank get below ¼ full. I'm not happy with this answer but whatever, everything is covered under warranty so no skin offy back. (I had since switched back to regular 89 octane).

Between December 2021 and January 2022 the truck is back at the dealership almost 10 times for the same check engine light issue. In this time I was told not to use the block heater (something to do with the ECU seeing the difference in temperature between the block and the coolant and trying to over compensate for it) I stop using the block heater but the issue persisted.

The next time I take it to the dealership they replace the air purge solenoid and I am told that should fix the issue. It does not. The most recent trip I am told I have contaminated fuel again (after filling up at multiple reputable Shell stations all over the city because they keep playing the contaminated fuel card) I asked for a fuel analysis report and was told they didn't have one and they determined that the fuel was contaminated due to carbon buildup on the sparkplugs. I'm not claiming to be a mechanic but I know my way around vehicles and engines and the plugs looked fine to me as well as the guys I work with who have more experience than I do in that area. The dealership wanted to charge me $1400 to replace the plugs and flush the fuel system because "contaminated fuel" issues aren't covered under warranty. They even said there's no guarantee this will fix the issue I'm having.

I've escalated this to Toyota corporate and was told the same thing the dealership told me. Recently the truck has been running fine (it's warmed up to -15⁰C now)

I was messing around with my OBD scanner and the Torque app and noticed that my long term fuel trims are off. Ideally they're supposed to be at 0 but nothing is ever ideal. Bank 1 reads -8.9% and bank 2 reads -3.91%. Anyone have any idea why they would read with a 5% difference or if this could be a cause of my issues??

Sorry for the long read but I'm running out of ideas and need some solid advice! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
