I was playing with my 4LO and locker this afternoon. It's really temperamental with locking or not. A few different times that I was in 4LO and neutral and pushed the locker button, it would just blink and never engage. A couple of times it engaged on the first shot. It definitely seems inconsistent like most everyone's experience so far.

    Mostly stuff I built.
It is an electromagneticly engaged locker it is not going to lock until the spines line up. This is going to require the rear wheels to be moving at different rates or just getting lucky and having it line up. It will engage better the more you use it as the parts wear in to each other. The tolerances are tight and will get better with use.

If your locker is hesitating to engage just hit the throttle a little and get the tires to break loose some and it will line up and engage. If not try it again.

When I tried that with mine with a tech in the truck, we still couldn't get it to lock consistently.

    I added to the OP:
Dealer replaced Differential Position Switch. Also states one rear wheel must slip for it to engage. However I have found that it does sometimes engage without any wheel movement.
