Intermittent overheating, AC blows warm

They cancelled the "Lack of AC Performance" TSB? That sux! Seriously, if it wasn't an issue, why would you (or anyone) waste their time taking it in? I had an annoying whistle coming from my vents when the AC was on. Took a couple trips to fix it, but they finally got it. Now I've noticed my AC isn't very cold at idle, or when I'm in 4Lo out on the trail. My first gen kept me icy cold out on the trail, so I'm really hoping I can get them to apply this TSB.

that must be a shit bag dealership, I would try a different dealer even if its out of your way to get there, one good thing is that u have the issue documented. I had to do this on my truck I bought used from a Toyota dealership, to replace a blown front strut on my truck I tried 2 dealers and got BS went to a 3rd and they were happy to repair it since they get reimbursed for the repair from Toyota corp., I also filed complaints to Toyota corp about the lame ass service from the 2 dealerships in handling my warranty issue.

 

Thats Longo Toyota for you! They sell a lot of trucks and other Vehicles. When I was looking for mine, all dealers had a max of 4 trucks on the lot. Longo had 36 I think.
