Just remember to call on Monday to get a file claim from Toyota Corporate. A case number. Remember these operators are just keyboard punchers. They won’t know the remedy of the problem. Just take your statement and send it off to someone else. But, they will call your service department. Which will change their attitude to the situation. I had to do this for my 2016 model. I couldn’t believe the difference with my service department after that call.

Correct, and the high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) is in the engine bay. Where a chirp @JaCado referenced could be coming from.

Dealer replaced the Crank Sensor on Friday, 4/31. I am about 90 miles in, and it appears to have fixed the issue. I'm on 87 gas.

It also seems that the truck has more power at the low end of the power band, the lack of which has been one my biggest gripes with the truck since purchase.

It's work noting again that my truck was NOT included in the CPS recall, but that replacing it might have been the fix I needed.

    Cautiously optimistic.
