Thanks. I took a chance and ordered that same part number before I was able to read your post. It works like it should. Thanks for the help! Now I am working on the fog lights. Didn't come with them so I am hoping that these will be just as easy.

Just thought I'd add some more info (and ask a question or two).

I recently acquired a switch from a 2014 Camry, as it was suggested to me that 07+ Camry switches should PnP for my '13 base.

    1) I disassembled, and before installing the switch, plugged in harnesses to test. Both plugs fit just right.

    2) the wiper side (4 wire/pin side) worked fine. High/low/intermittent/mist

    3) the washer side (2 wire/pin side) didn't work at all. Further examination showed that the pins in the new part didn't go in the same place wires were in for the plug. (so of course it didn't work)

    4) connected jumpers from the plug to the new switch washer side, now everything works.

    5) decide I'd try removing the wires/pins from the plug, reinstall them in the position to match the new switch. But that's not always easy, and especially working with a short wire up under the steering wheel.

    6) before starting that, I decided to try a trial fit of the switch itself into the combination block. Whoa! No fit! Way too 'thick' to clear the ignition switch.

    7) Just glancing at it, the switch has the right general shape. But the snap lock is different, thickness is different and a couple other dimensions are too.

So, assuming the piece I got was exactly as described (and I have no reason to doubt), apparently the unit from a '12/'13/'14 Camry will not work. This was labeled as being from a '14 w/26k miles, and it was pristine.

Thus the question is, for those who have used Camry/Corolla switches, which year models are the ones that DO work?

Lastly, does anyone need a combination switch from a '14 Camry? The turn/light switch is included, as is the column mount :D

09-13 Corolla and 07-11 Camry should fit. Have a 10 Corolla switch in mine. Works perfect.

Have looked at several different places for this part and it seems to run around $100. Anyone find it cheaper?

I found a switch on ebay, called the toyota parts department to make sure it was what it said it was. While talking to the parts person, she put me on hold and talked to her shop forman. He told her i might need to replace the motor and the body computer in addition to this switch to have intermittent wipers. Is this indeed the case? I have a 2014 4 dr model

Another steaming pile of catalog jockey ignorance.

If you'll read through this thread you'll find several '14s that have made the switch.

I went to the local south Atlanta Toyota dealer, gave them my VIN and told them I wanted the variable mist speed lever. They came up with a part number 84652-04131 so I ordered it but when I got home I checked it out online and that is the stock part that comes on the Tacomas, without the variable speed mist control. I called and got it changed to 86452-04141. $127. I will pick it up this week, IF they get me the right one.

i have a new 2015 base acc cab 4x4. power door locks, nice high tech "head unit", steering wheel controls. it even has a remote key fob. i love my new truck. drove it a few days, and then it started to rain. i turned on the wipers, they worked great, hey brand new truck. the rain slowed to a mist, went to switch to intermitteint, WTF!!!!! you gotta be kidding me. i'm going to have to do this mod. i'm still pissed, over 25000.00 truck. my wife's cheap ass ford has intermittent wipers.

Wiper Switch, Cruise Control, Back-up Camera and Locking Tailgate were the first mods I made. All pretty much plug & play on my 2015 AC Base.

That is exactly my list of first mods on my 15 AC base. I did the hose clamp and washers on the tailgate though, not the pop n lock. Thought about fog lights but they aren't pre wired on mine and I don't want them badly enough to run wires. Are you planning on doing any more relatively easy power options?

No more mods on the horizon. I too considered fog lights but just as you found, I'm not pre-wired. If I was going to bother with wiring lights I would probably go with LEDs in the grill. If it had been pre-wired I'd put in factory fogs. No power mods for me. IMHO most attempts to get more power from these 4 cyl just act to lighten your wallet (of course lighter is faster). I find the 2.7L to have plenty of torque for the truck's size and weight. Recently took the truck on a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains, even spent some time on a pretty rough/steep Forest Service Service Road, and it never struggled. I was pleasantly surprised.

Of the mods I completed, Cruise Control was the cheapest, camera/lock combo most expensive, all of them were easy. It took about an hour combined with the camera/lock taking the longest.
