I finally found a cheap part and 16 years later, installed Intermittent wiper control on my 2007 Tacoma BASE model. It took three times as long to write it up as it did to r&r the darn switch.

Why it took me so long to realize the manufacturer needs to wire every vehicle for all possible accessories for that model in order to sell a ten dollar switch for hundreds as adding cruise or Intermittent wipers and such!

Best mod I ever did! That, and remote start. The stock wipers are too fast for light rain and smear everywhere if it’s only sprinkling out, so I’d always be turning them on and off and on and off. Intermittent switch was SO easy!

Never needed a Remote Start - but I did do the CRUISE CONTROL stem install a year or so ago check out my Instructable.
