MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
I always try to travel internationally with just a carry on or sometimes two of them (backpack and small s/c).

Domestically I usually fly with firearms, so almost always have to check a bag. Sometimes I ship the firearm ahead, or make arrangements to use someone else's at the destination.

Does anyone have global entry? I'm trying to figure out if it's really a time savings. All the airports I have gone through have been pretty quick. No more then maybe 30 min.

I have GE and like it a lot, but mostly for the fact that it also doubles as SENTRI at the Mexico borders. Saves us a few hours on holiday weekends. I have yet to actually use it at an airport besides just the pre-check. I do love traveling and it will get its fair share of use. I have traveled most of eastern Europe and some central as I am from Slovakia and my wife is Croatian. Here are some of the places we visited: http://whereismatus.com/visited-countries/

not sure how I missed this thread.... I find myself frequently out of the country.

used to have to always check a bag, and then all my photo gear and laptop had to be carried on. I have since changed my setup to go with less gear, so planning on being more minimalistic going forward.

United is changing its carry on restrictions again. Seems most companies are letting us carry less and less on the plane. Probably since so many people are catching on to carry-on-only travel and they're losing a lot of money ha.

sounds about right. I'm just reading through some of your minimalist articles. there's a strong chance I'm doing a week in Panama in a few months, so it'd be perfect for that

Awesome! I need to get back at that and try again haha. Too many projects, not enough time. Hit me up if ever I can help.

All I know is I have about 150,000 ish United points I need to use up before I switch to a different airline to earn points with...

    absolutely!

typically since I had so much gear, it was a challenge to downsize for any of my bigger trips. but after my most recent trip (Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden) I decide to change things up

time to research and book! :D

I've technically been to a hair more than this but don't like to count just passing through if I don't at least see and experience some of a place. The airport in Alaska for example wasn't enough for me to feel like I've gotten that State out of my system yet :D

    What all have y'all been??

Awesome! We didn't make it down to Bocas del Toro but heard amazing things about it. Spent new years in Boquete last year, which was super fun. Partied on the hostel porch with a couple Texan hippies, a guy with an eye patch (basically a pirate), two people from argentina, and two people from Colombia. Such a crazy group!

Panama city was cool, too. Did a lot of walking around. Definitely get a metro pass if you're there for more than a couple days!

...unless you have a ride. :p
