Internet price honoring supercharger

Does an Internet website have to honor their price? I understand local stores have weights and measures to follow. I found a Tacoma supercharger online for under 3,000. When you add it to the cart it jumps to 3800. I called and they said they would look into it and attempt to honor the mistake for me. Now the website has been changed and I have not heard anything from the website. Any advice?

It's actually a reputable site that I, and many others, have ordered from before. I think they just made an error is all.

 

No they don't have to honor it. I ordered a milwaukee power tool set because it was listed at about 40% of what it normally was. Paid online and everything. Then a day later I got a refund and they said it was a pricing error.

 

Grrrrr! Bullshit. I wonder why weights and measures can pressure local retailers to honor but not online stores?
