MAF is high because idle is high, fuel trims are perfect so you most likely don't have a vacuum leak.

Idle should be in the 700-800 RPM range at operating temp, your at 1200 thus the P0505 code.

Need to check the throttle body for wear and that it's closing all the way as well as check the Idle Air Control Valve to verify it moves freely and isn't stuck.

I recently inspected the throttle body on my 3.4L V6 PreRunner and noticed that it feels a bit loose. There’s some play in the opposite direction, which has me concerned. It seems like I might need to either replace the throttle body or consider getting it rebuilt.

I didn’t remove the throttle body because the bolts holding it in place are pretty worn out and slightly rounded. I’m hesitant to try removing them since I’m worried I might not be able to secure it back if things go sideways.

On top of that, the bolts and screws for the throttle position sensor are in rough shape as well, so I’m currently looking for replacements for those.

If anyone has suggestions for high-quality replacement bolts and screws (preferably durable ones that won’t strip easily) I’d really appreciate your input. Also, if you’ve had experience with throttle body that’s been rebuilt or know reliable sources for a replacement throttle body for this engine, please let me know!

And also a cheap option for an upstream catalytic converter. Thinking of getting that replaced also. Mechanics said it may be my problem for power loss going uphills (He took it for a drive). Where am from we don’t really do emissions test.

Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations!
