Greetings 3rd Gen folks. I've been a lurker since 2021 when I picked up a Lunar Rock TRD Pro and have learned a lot here. Grateful. Have been driving Land Cruisers (I've had over 40 of them since I left the Marine Corps in 1995) but I enjoy my Tacoma A LOT. At 72k miles it was due new tires and rims and as promised here on the forums I had some rubbing. After cutting away all I could sensibly cut, I reached out to Ian Vandenberg (in Kyle Texas) to rebuild my shocks and add the Eibach spring/block lift made specifically for the TRD Pro. (1.3 inches up front, 1 inch in back)

I left it with him for a day and he did an incredible job. I had no idea how tired my shocks were until driving home on freshly built shocks.....rebuilt by someone who knows what they're doing. If you're in the Texas Hill Country, Ian is in Kyle and is worth the trip. If not, you can ship him your shocks and he can rebuild and send back. Again, worth the effort to have them built by a pro.

Thanks Ian (ian2016) and thanks TacomaWorld for all the helpful info.

    Best,
    Ben

Thanks for the kind words Ben! Great to meet you and you’ve got a beautiful truck! I’m glad to hear you’re happy with the lift and rebuild.
