Then the spare tire must be different, because the treads are def not the same...???

@Brentbba could you reach out to Goodyear and get an official response to this burning question about tread patterns on your truck versus stock photos?
And then circle back with Toyota corporate to resolve any remaining inconsistencies?

Same tire on the truck as the spare under the truck.

Toyota has a special deal with these tire manufacturers to make their versions of the "same" tire but with lighter and less durable rubber. The same thing is happening with the non-hybrid and hybrid off-road trims. For instance: the hybrid off-road comes with a Falken Wildpeak A/T4 that looks way milder than the actual A/T4, and is missing the 3 peak snow rating as well. Toyota puts on the lightest/most efficient tires possible to get those MPGs up. Gotta get those numbers up! lol

A lot. Check out my build page.
Thanks man. Very helpful! Appreciate you answering questions. Mine is on order (I’m 13 of 27 people at my dealer in line) and just a few things I’m curious on as I wait especially as it compares to my 2nd Gen so really appreciate your help!

Good luck with the waitlist. I literally had build specs via the Toyota site and searched a 250 mile radius daily. Seemed like every dealer was getting one in either ice Cap or bronze oxide. I got luck with a dealer 75 miles from home.

Thanks. Yeah, I’m not in a huge rush. I have a really nice 2nd Gen in the garage so I’m good waiting. This dealer is also right down the street from me and they don’t charge markup or premiums so I’ll do my best to be patient! Really looking forward to it though!

I love the wheels, but with Ice Cap I think they need to be black.

Black would also look good, but to each his own. I like the bronze.

    Thanks.

I scrolled back and I think I found the question. This TH has 1,215 lbs of payload and you want to know why it doesn’t have 1,400 lbs, right?

I’ll see what I can do. No promises. This isn’t unique to Toyota BTW. It has been my experience with all the brands. If I had the team, I’d create a “real-world” payload database. Those website payload numbers are never close.

Brent, thanks for sharing & congrats. New member here & I've got on 6' Bed TH on order. Like you, I need a hard cover on the back, so I'm interested in seeing how you make out with your cover. Obviously, I'll have a 6' bed, so that will make a difference... Shannon

Can't wait for mine in Celestial Silver to arrive at month's end! I think the silver with gold wheels will really POP!

Question: does the bed include the molle panels, or do we have to buy those separately?

I like the fit and finish of the oem tonneau cover so far. You do loose the ARB sport bar. I sold mine! Love the truck. Even in Eco mode it has plenty of power. Better than my son's 2022 Tacoma TRD Offroad!

How does the ARB Sport Bar mount in the bed? Is any type of tonneau cover going to be incompatible with it? Thanks!

9 bolts in the bed rails each side. You must remove it to install a tonneau cover. 20240621_140332.jpg 20240621_124542.jpg

I have my ham radio mounted on a panel by the center front console area. I think the trail hunter has those molle mounts in that area. That’s a good place.
