Ordered mine on the 14th, received today and it looks well put together. It will await the future replacement truck for install.

    Yo, yo, yo,

Is this available to be used on our 3rd gen? Asking bc the title states 2nd gen. Interested in purchasing a cover in order to remove the crappy looking shark fin. Thanks

So, today I put the cover on. The weather here in Michigan was 60* and figured it would be an opportune time to do it. I will confess I been sort of dreading it as it puts me in an area I am not comfortable with; pulling panels, headliner, etc.
But Anderson sent me a link with helpful instructions (he sent me a note saying he is doing his own installation tutorial; stay tuned) and in a little over an hour I had it installed.
The only casualties were a couple broken (brittle) clip attachments in headliner grid and I dropped a socket behind the lower door panel and could not retrieve it. Even still everything snapped back in place just fine and snug.
Other than that, I was pleasantly surprised with the project and quite pleased with the look!

I posted the process of replacing the shark-fin on a 2015 Access Cab over on my build thread.

The access cab is a bit more challenging than the Double-Cab because the entire rear seat assembly must be removed to get at the headliner. It took me 4-5 hours, but I am not very good at this type of stuff.

Thanks for the write up. I started to look into doing mine and noticed it might take a bit more time compared to double cab, oh well. I guess while the back panel is removed I might do a little sound deadening and headrest removal.
Thanks again and good job on the write up

@Anderson It sounds like you are quite busy! Do you know if I placed an order tomorrow morning 1/11, how long would it take to ship out? Just got an email my camper is done and I figured I should do this before I head out to pick it up. Awesome looking product!

Is your camper a Drifter by chance? If it is, I live less than 2 miles from VO HQ. We can pop it in when you show up for an install. If it’s not a Drifter, I ship out usually same day, if not the next day...

It's not a drifter...it's the "other guys". I'll place an order tonight! Thanks for making a simple solution

    Placed my order!

Will be so happy (come spring) to remove the dumb looking shark fin from the roof! Will look better- won't be in the way when clearing snow or washing it and if I end up with a roof rack it won't be an issue.
