LOL. No not quite $4000. When I do all the math for 16" SR8 wheels, minus duty and taxes, my total comes to about $825 CAD shipped to my door. When you convert it to CAD it comes to $1044. Keep in mind the $825 does not include duty and brokerage fees. When I used an online duty calculator the total cost came to about $1200. Which is what I expected before I did any math.

Add $35 if you want black bolts around the faux bead lock, which makes it $860 US or $1088 CAD plus duty and brokerage fees.

It doesn't cost as much as you think to clear wheels. When I had a 2012 Golf GTI I bought some wheels from the US which I had shipped to a friends house in Seattle. When I came back through the border at Peace Arch with the wheels and about $200 worth of other stuff, the duty was about $125.

What color are the bolts if you don't order black?

Look at the first post of this thread. Vin posted a rendition of the wheels on his truck with none painted bolts, the actual photo of the wheel on his truck has painted bolts.

Remove them and have them powder coated...that is of course, if they come off once SCS puts them on the wheels.

I'll just swap them out for grade 8 if they're removable. Grade 8 is like 3$ a lb and I won't be so pissed when I get rock rash

Can't really beat SCS. Their stuff is top notch from what I've read and like I said, you'll only see another Toyota with your wheels.

Poor Vin isn't going to have any hair left when I'm done. I'm on the list for 16" black SR8 which I'm prepared to take but just last night started thinking about 17" instead. Not sure what the advantage is with 17" wheels over 16" but I thought they would look a little better then the 16".

I had the same thought, but the 17" just works! I'm ditching my stock TRD OR 16's, just always thought the 17's stand out better on the Tacoma's!

Personally I think 18"s are the best compromise.
For me it's between these RAY 10's in 17" or these in a brighter bronze which I'd not prefer but prefer the 18" size (hint hint)

I'm in for set in matte gray 16x8. Any idea when these are going to be available. Got new tires waiting on wheels.
