Be shocks in the rear? Typo of some sorts?

My plan is to get icons all around with Dakar's in the back and the back shocks to be revalved by DSM to match in dampening with the leafs. Also the rear shocks will be resi's as well. And the upper control will be from TC. So with all that I am desperately hoping that it'll look just like your stance. Not too much rake and not too much hunch backed. Just perfect.

Yeah that was a typo on my part. Those parts will work perfectly. To get the front end up where i have it, youll need to have a bit more then the standard 2" of threads showing.

If you want my lift measurments shoot me a pm and ill send them to you.

Odd question but saw something on a thread that got me thinking...

Will there be an issue with 16" Ray10's on a TRD sport? Coming stock with 17" and all.

Saw something somewhere else on here about brake calipers being in the way? Just wanted to double check and make sure I was ready something that wouldn't matter in my situation.

    The details
2010 DCSB TRD Sport looking to put 16" Ray10's on with some 285/??/16 Coopers or Ko2's
These will go on same day with an Icon stage 4.

    Thanks for the help.

    Gregg,

You won't have any issues whatsoever running 16" wheels on a Tacoma Sport. SR5, TRD OR, and Sport models all have the same calipers. All of our wheels whether 16" or 17" will clear just fine. You're good to go!

I'm not sure about you other guys, but Pennsylvania is pretty strict about your tires going too far(preferably none) past the fenders.

I'm all geared up and ready to go on this upcoming wave of Ray 10's, but i'm wondering how far beyond I would be looking at? I plan on running Cooper Discoverer AT3's, either 265/70/17 or 275/70/17. Any input into this would be appreciated. I'll set myself up for disappointment now rather than later(hope it doesn't go that way!)

This is stock height with 265/70/17. Keep the tires narrow to minimize the poke.

Yep, there'd be no problem at all passing inspection like that.

    Thanks, Vin!

    Now, more importantly.......

How much longer??? Are we still looking at Mid-August-ish?
