Planning...suspension, front slimline bumper, winch, full skids, 2" lift, SCS Ray 10's, Pizza cutters, Power Tray, Switch-Pro, Alu-Cab Contour Canopy.
Anyone running SCS Ray 10's 16" with Pizza Cutter 255/85 R16's. I would like to know about your experience. I have heard different things about rubbing/no rubbing in my research on TW so I figured I would ask the experts.

Here is what I plan to do...

22 OR with Bilstein 6100/5160's (1" lift, I would prefer not to max it) w/Icon RTX Leaf Pack Stage 2 (I will have an Alu-Cab and gear, Batt, refrig in back). I am interested in the new Wildpeak ATX4's in Load Range C. I know they are just as heavy as the 255/80/R17's in Load Range E (other option - 17's) but I figure they should have a better ride and still the the Duraspec sidewalls for off roading.

Yeah, I've read pretty much every post in that thread. Some say no issues and others say light rubbing. I guess I will just need to find out for myself. Now the decision comes down to 16" with C rated Falken 255's or 17" with E Rated Falken 255's.

Did I read that there is may be a special run of Ray 10's with a machined Bead? I swear I read that somewhere and now I cannot find it. If so, I may wait for that since I am not in a rush.

    Please let me know.. THX!

Unbelievably impressed by these. Also finding a company who ships to alaska without cutting you off at the knees is awesome.

Looks nice. Can't wait to order mine! Are those 16's or 17's? What size tire?

I still can't decide between the 16's with 255/85/R16 or 17's with 255/80/R17. More tire choice with 17's but only E load rated tires. Can get C rated with the 16's in my choice of tire - Falken Wildpeaks. Right now i am leaning toward the 17's.

Either way you end up going, i think you’re going to be very pleased. i do love the idea of 255 but can’t justify them in 7 months of snow and ice

I thought the pizza cutters were supposed to be great in snow since they cut through the surface crust and dig in. Not something I am going to deal with too much in the AZ desert unless I go up north to play but I swear that I read that while researching. As for Ice, is there anything good on the ice? Maybe studded tires or chains?

What are the chances the brushed gold ray 10's make a comeback?

I've been waiting a couple/few months for the standard Black Ray 10's in 17" to come in stock so good luck with the brushed gold.

If they don't come in soon I am either going to have to settle for 16" (assuming they are still in stock) or find a different rim that I like. :annoyed:
