Im fairly new to this forum and wanted to give everyone who cares a hello. 31 years young male from California. Picked up a 2013 Toyota Tacoma prerunner SR5 a few weeks ago. Its not a 4x4 as i do not do any off roading. Mainly got it because I needed something to pull my bass boat and haul things around the house.

I have not done much to it. I did replace the factory antenna with an 8 inch antenna so it wouldn't hit my garage. Im sure the radio reception isnt that good, but I dont listen to the radio anyway. Today i had my front windows tinted and I went and purchased some Pro Comp 5001 16x8 wheels which had to be ordered and will be installed Wednesday of next week. Will post a pic when that is done The truck already had some really nice nitto tires so I opted to just buy wheels that would fit the tires currently on the truck. No need for lifting or leveling as it already has bilstein 5100 all the way around and it sits perfectly for me.

This is the truck a few weeks ago when i bought it.

welcome to TW! Nice truck. How do you like the way the bilsteins ride? I'm looking at getting 5100s all around on my '04 here pretty soon. Are you on stock coils or aftermarket?

I actually got my new wheels today. 16" ProComp 5001, but I cant decide if I like them or not. I love the look of the wheel, but Im not sure about the size. I went 16 because I didn't want to get rid of the nice nitto tires on the truck. Ive walked outside and looked at it about 15 different times today and half the time Im like. "Those look great". The other half though Im thinking "I should have went bigger". What do you guys think?

Its not to late. My wife is in a good mood and is ok with me buying another set of rims and tires as long as I sell these for what ever I can get when i get the new ones.

Honestly I can't tell anything from that picture with the lighting.

If you don't absolutely love them right off the bat, they're probably wrong for you. Once I got mine I was drooling instantly.

I personally like 16" rims, that's what I bought for my 1st gen.
I like having a lot of tire, though. It's all personal preference!
But I think those look bad ass

Thanks bro. I think Ill keep them on for a while. Ill just put the money I was going to spend on 17" rims and tires into other things. Like I am really digging the ICI magnum steps. I think Ill pick up a set of those. I also am going to order the OEM roof rack and see if can find a cargo basket to fit on it. Oh I also need to grab one of those bed mats. Everyone raves about them. It would be nice not to have my groceries slide around in the bed ha.

Hey bro I like what Im seeing on your first gen taco. Do you think I could see a full picture of it. Especially a good picture of the headache rack. Ive been looking for one that doesnt protrude over the roof of the truck

    Thank you
