Introduction...soon to be new owner

My name is Brian and I find myself over here from T4R. I bought a used 03 4runner almost 2 years ago and spent the past year and a half fixing it up....3/2 Toytec/Bilstein lift, 275/70R17 BFG KO's, roof basket/rack, brush guard, extended sway bar links, and a TON of maintenance items. Then on Dec 27, a drunk driver decides I don't need that vehicle anymore and plows into the driver side then hauls butt. Needless to say, I was not happy BUT there is a silver lining in every cloud I guess.

I have been regretting getting rid of a pickup and since the insurance company totaled it, I am now searching for a mid to late 2000's Tacoma. I will need to get the 4 door model and 4x4. Then I am thinking I get to start all over again unless I am lucky enough to find one with some of the things I want already installed.

Anyway, I had fun learning about 4runners on T4R and plan to have just as much fun learning about Tacoma's here.

Picked up a 2006 Tacoma 4 door TRD with 79k. Vehicle is one owner and all of the service records were available and done through a Toyota dealer. It has a 6 cylinder and 6 spd manual tranny. I am pretty pumped! Still bummed about my 4runner but this is easing the sting a bit.

Took delivery last Thursday and already had to put new tires on it and replace all of the TPMS sensors. Man do I miss my 03 runner already, no TPMS on that one...LOL! Other than that, just getting used to the new rig, especially the stick shift. I haven't had a manual transmission in a while. It drives good though and I am liking it more and more every day.
