Inverter question.

I have a 2009 base sr5 4x4. Want to know if anyone has done an inverter mod to there sr5. I like the sport and trd extras. Such as inverter and bed outlet. Could not get a trd due to price, but wanted to know if I could add these items to my truck if I went to the junk yard and pulled them off a trd, or bought a inverter myself and wired it up. Also if I pull and inverter out of a trd do you think it would be almost plug and play?

Honestly, it's a cool thing to see when you are looking at brand new trucks but I have never used it for anything and hear that they don't do much to start with. I can charge my phone with a 12v charger, or the usb port.
