I got my first 4x4 in 1972...haven't been without one! I still like Chrome!
Has anyone had any problems charging things with inverters? The Samsung Cell Phone people wouldn't say that is was ok with either a Modified Sine Wave inverter or a Pure Sine Wave inverter.
I was going to put one in my truck but now I'm wondering if I should.
Was looking at a Cobra 800 watt.
Tell me what you know about it,
    Thanks, Bill

I've got a cheap 600W inverter I got at Wal-Mart. Plugs into the cigarette lighter. I've used it to charge 2-way radio's, laptop, cellphone, aa batteries, etc... No issues, and I've been using it since I bought the truck in 2008. Even used it for extended periods of time. For example, driving across the country, I'd have my laptop plugged into the inverter the ENTIRE time. That's four consecutive days of 10 hour driving, and no issues.

    Hope that helps.

never had a single problem... but for a cell phone wouldn't it be cheaper to get the car 12v jack.
