This is awesome haha! If it weren’t for dividends, I’d be in rental property. I couldn’t do stocks without some sort of monthly income.

I just talk shit mostly. and invest heavily into my 401k. The only strategy I have is back in December when everything tanked I raised my 401k withholding from my paycheck to 30 or 35% and was planning on riding it all the way down and hold out as long as I could with paying in that much and bump it back down to something more reasonable. Still worked out ok though and I'm glad I did it, just was a quicker turnaround that what I thought was going to happen. If stocks start trending down I'll bump my contributions back up some.
I have 60% vanguard target date 2055, 20% vangaurd capital opportunity fund , 10% vangaurd s&p500 index and 10% vangaurd growth fund.
I also have some cash in cd's and a money market account that I plan on using for a down payment for a house sometime within a year or two.

LOL I resemble this a bit anyway... I love my options, but I use the money I make from that activity to invest into long term hold positions, many of which pay dividends. So I'm definitely an options guy, but I dabble a little all over the place. I'll take this corner though!

No sir. I run covered 99% of the time on my "long options". My long stock positions are just that though... Long. I don't trade or leverage the positions I am truly long on. Those are in my portfolio hopefully for the long haul.

Well I am in expanding learning stage- I’ve got my Understanding Wall Street book on my nightstand and an ameritrade account with some speculation funds. I have a retirement account that is almost solely index ETF funds that I am looking to add variety too.

I am fighting the urge to get some more. I bought 5 shares right around $1200 ish. That's probably enough exposure to one company for me (I am an index fund person) but I really am very bullish on AMZN's future.

Be very careful with empty subdivision lots if you don't have the means to develop them.

Theres still a few empty subdivisions around here with roads and 11 year old for sale signs on them. Most of them have been built on in the last year though.
