    It could be safe if you know what your doing but I do know that in 08 my uncle bought some "cheap" lots and took him 10 years to sell and still lost money

    Location, location, location - my next door neighbor just sold her house for $200 sq ft. We are on postage stamp lots but the neighborhood is very desirable, great schools, nice amenities.

    Looks like there putting more tariffs on Chinese made stuff Friday.
    I'd say they make a deal Thursday night and we go to the moon.

    What do you think is going on with this trade stuff? I am leaning towards this tariff threat just being posturing, a bargaining chip, etc. I expect either a deal on Friday, or another extension. Neither side will walk away in my opinion.

    Same boat. No one is walking away. The economies are too intertwined at this point. It's not a bluff, but rather a "I see you, and you can't just do whatever the hell you want".

    I see 1 of 2 things happening:

    1. We get a trade deal announced on Friday, and the market continues to do well.

    2. We don't, and tariffs go into place, and the market goes back to where it was in December.

    I can't see this playing out any other way.
