Probably only focused enough in it to get the pr and the name in the news, then once it's over discontinue that pr campaign and start another to get the name our some more.
I think alot of people are hoping Lyft or uber comes out with self driving cars and maybe why they are valued higher, but I dont see that happening in the next ten years.

So who all thinks with the fed keeping interest rates so low for so long and then lowering them farther at the hint of a slowdown will cause for an extra nasty recession? Does anybody see any upside to this.
Also the government has already lowered taxes some so how much more stimulus could they really do.

I would say you could compare this to the Fed cuts in the mid-1990’s, which did work, but I don’t know if that made the impending recession worse. Probably prolonged it but made it worse with less ammo to cut.

Not bad. Just a tiny bit less APY than Wealthfront. Seems a bit more liquid than Wealthfront as well.

I guess they listened to the backlash with their last banking attempt with respect to not being FDIC insured.

Any chance robinhood does direct deposit for their cash account? I can't find anything about this. It's one thing that irks me about Wealthfront.

Not sure it works that way. It seems like they are like a middle man of sort.so if You would make or not make a deposit to potentially invest, if you decide not to, you would have to "sweep" your funds to one of the 6 banks they work with. I'm sure it's not that complicated but doesn't sound as appealing now. Maybe I have it wrong?Screenshot_20191008-214925.jpg

I’m a little confused on why it says $306 as the common stock price

So I do have a stock question about tesla. The market cap shows at 45 billion, so a little less than gm and a little more than ford.

Isnt the market cap the total value of the company based off the stock price.
So that would value them around the same level as gm and ford that build 10 times as many cars. Do people really think theres going to be that much profit later on in tesla to justify the high price now?

I think you just take the share price and multiply it by the outstanding shares to get the market cap.

To answer your question, that is exactly what people think. It’s impossible to compare Ford and Tesla based on earnings per share because Tesla is still negative. So it’s all based on expectations. I personally think Tesla is a ponzi scheme and wouldn’t pay $10 a share for a company that doesn’t make money after years. I have a position in Ford for the dividend and I believe they will grow slowly as well.

Remember when people laughed at Amazons outrageous market cap? Not saying Tesla will be like Amazon but investors are smitten with them right now.
