CDC is now issuing statement that Americans should "prepare for disruptions" to their daily lives as a result. Yeet.

 

natural immunity will come through no matter what. The common cold is a coronavirus, the flu kills 300k - 600k a year. This will just be another illness to deal with. It's more violent right now because nobody has an immunity to it. As more people get minor cases, so will herd immunity. It's not ending the world.

everyone's selling MRNA and buying CODX lol

 

Put in some stop limits on stocks that I have owned for a long time (Altria which had been sucking anyway since they bought JUUL) and MSI which i had since I was kid and had split a few times taking some huge profits on the cost basis on that since tech stocks are getting hammered. We will see what the stop limits tell me, I put them at 2% and 5% below the current price. This will be good money to use to invest in me.

 

Haven't checked the markets today. Did I miss anything?

Haha I was joking, I watched it drop all day. I am not doing as bad as the S&P this week if that's any consolation.

 

Lol I figured.

Me either, I just need to use some money pretty soon here so I figured let's stop the bleeding a bit. I'm pretty stocked up in blue chips/REITS that pay a good dividend so they dont move too much and if the chaos continues will be a flight to safety to others so I'm in a good space I think.

 

This actually may be some good timing, looking to start a SEP IRA pretty much as soon as my LLC gets approved and rollover my old 401k into it. This may work out nicely if I get lucky and buy in low.
