they just halted it again. I'm dead.

Now everyone's trading other shit. My position in MRNA has been asleep as far as action all day and just got a shot of adrenaline.

If I had to guess, I’d say this correction is about half over. Not too shocking after last year, it needed to happen.

I'm agreeing. I hate agree with that sham Suze Orman, but this market was not sustainable.

I was just reading that corrections of 5% or greater occur on average 1.5 times per year; 10% or greater occur on average 0.5 times per year. This is pretty normal so far.

I just got banned for a little while, then it was gone. Can anyone shed some light on that? Moderators? What did I do?!

Futures are melting down again. I'm so glad I parked my all money again last week. The coronavirus thing is going to be a game changer at least for a while. I honestly thought it was going to be a big nothing burger

It is a big nothing burger, it's just overblown and the shutdowns are just adding fuel to the fire and stalling economies everywhere.. not any more lethal than the flu. Play the markets or buy the dips.. there's opportunity everywhere.. this is the most fun I've had trading in a while

    I meant Alcoholics Anonymous lol

I do think that if you can time the bottom (or even come remotely close to it), airline stocks can make you rich over the next few years. They will be unfairly punished over this virus, but it won't last forever. Things will go back to normal like they always do.

02 Tacoma, fixed with curse words.
Having used to to work for an airline managing massive capital purchases ($300million +p/y) never invest in an airline. I used to get stock options and I would dump them the next day and invest in something else. They are horrible with capital, have insane and fickle labor forces, and as you see with this it takes an event 100% out of anyone's control to tank them.

Epsically AA they are probibly the worst managed of all them.

i knew what you meant on AA, also I agree on the virus with airlines. Any international travel company is going to suffer, I'd assume it's affecting local travel companies as well just with fear.

I agree with you that airlines jump around a lot, but if you buy during the pandemics then your upside percentages I'd assume are better.
There's always a price that makes any buy a good deal for profits.

I agree, I was thinking of taking advantage of this pandemic, not really investing in airlines. I would just expect a way overshoot to the downside. Try to buy when you think it's a bottom, and sell when the recovery happens. It's risky and I wouldn't do it, but I bet it would work.
