hey man, just take some solace knowing you have zero skin in the game now lol. Like I said, your upside is unlimited but your downside is at least not going to be the equity you started with! I'm looking at two portfolios and one of them would be as if I never sold, it's up a decent amount today but nothing to cry about at the moment.

I mentioned earlier in this thread but I found CODX when it was still around $2 through reddit. The guys name is MTMtrader and he sends out a morning watchlist every day.

I’m still content I made $300 while sleeping lol

And at this point, all my gains this year have washed away. It was definitely up an unrealistic amount so I'm not surprised at the pull back. I think a lot of people were just looking for an excuse to take their gains and run. The question is, when does it slowly start to go back up?

MRNA was halted. I'm sure CODX has been halted a few times today also.

Ok, just got a notification that starbucks was reopening their stores in China. I'm gonna get out of these biotech stocks now and just trade TVIX/Natgas again. It was a fun ride while it lasted. Not sure how much I made in the last 2 days but I'm up 17% on the week. I'll take it.

The other shoe has yet to drop. I'm thinking HBSC will likely fail in the coming months. The scale of supply chain disruption is unknown and we don't know how the virus will play out in the United States.

The market was already on life support via repo injections for the last few months. There's very little value out there right now. I'm sitting tight. I think a realistic Dow floor is 18-20k.

This is not trading advice. Just shower thoughts

SPX looks like it's trying to run up from here. Wondering if it'll last!

any virus headline is going to push the index lower.. once things start to tamper down a bit I'm seeing a huge rally with no time to anticipate it... can't predict the future though

I’m thinking of tossing a couple grand into American Airlines tbh.

doubt it, interest rates are still near all-time lows, and all that's doing is inflating the asset bubble... so I don't see this being any more than a speed bump tbh. Just depends on the economic implications of measures taken by world governments and corporations and supply chain problems etc

I would go with another airline. They have been doing horribly pre crises while evreyone else was making huge profits and have been having some pretty bad labor relations issues. Look at DAL, UAL or SWA instead.

Full disclosure I used to work at UAL and my wife still does.

Time will tell but this most certainly could be the trigger. If this does take off it will expose how financially fragile many American businesses and consumers really are

Wow, my line drawing skills are uncanny.

    upload_2020-2-27_13-3-50.jpg

I drew the line from 3390 to 3050 like 3 days ago.

It will be interesting to see how companies re think their supply chains. Perhaps having all your eggs in one country basket isnt a smart idea. It will be interesting to see what other Asian countries benafit from this.

I still dont think there will be any large scale repatriation of manufacturing here out side of specialized high tech type stuff. I do not think we should be manufacturing low end stuff anyway as a country.
