yup. I haven't had the chance to move my money out, too much opp cost of waiting 3 trading days for the money to transfer out.

 

it was very brief, like a week or two lol i recall right after the elections

Having a short position is a good thing when the price decreases.

Technically, you are talking about speculation, not dollar cost averaging...

Dollar cost averaging is a strategy in which an investor places a fixed dollar amount into a given investment (usually common stock) on a regular basis. The investment generally takes place each and every month regardless of what is occurring in the financial markets.

 

fractional trading wasn't implemented at least from my end

 

I learned something new, I always just called it helping my dollar cost average when I bought in at a lower rate.
