    Anybody buying restaurant groups? I’ve been watching BLMN for the same reasons people are buying up cruise lines, but I feel like there might be a bit more stability.

    Is that misplaced security?

    I think restaurants that survive will return to pre covid business sooner than cruise lines. And yes, I’ve seen a few mentioned in here and elsewhere

    I am, indirectly, through retail REITs. I plan to put quite a bit of new money into O and FRT. They got beat down, are dividend aristocrats, and seem to be great buys to lock in yield right now. It's a bet on that industry without buying restaurants directly.

    restaurants that survived will BOOOM
    They will now have extra source of income in delivery + returned sitdown business.

    add in less competition from those that closed as well.

    Smart. I have never done so before. Been tossing so much money in I set a few.

    Had I done so when I first started I wouldnt have lost on the couple I have....all the way to reverse splits and such.

    I'm more likely to go into restaurants than cruise lines and airlines, but that's well low on my list.

    PS from TD Ameritrade about funds posting:
    I know we were talking about that earlier, so if I transferred however much, I could buy BP or HAL for example, but NRGU is <5$/share so I couldn't buy NRGU until the funds clear.
