Just when all the experts had said they were wrong and it was a V shaped recovery after all.

The dividend is on pause is my understanding, I’m seeing a 3.79% dividend as what they paid before they paused dividends.
I don’t expect to see much from dividends short term and I think BA will have large growth from .Mil and Civilian sectors.

Possible, but I don’t see it being likely, Aviation would die without commercial airliners, too many people are scared of flying in little planes but will fly in big planes, if for nothing other than time efficiency.

You have to remember how short the average person's memory is. I am not sure how old everyone on this thread is, but think back to after 9/11. A few years later (or less), everyone was flying again. I don't see how this would be any different.

Poor wording on my part . Less amount of passengers per plane with segregated areas , all at a higher cost per seat .
I do not in ANY event see world travel ending , it will just cost more .

It may for a while, but in 2-3 years, nobody will even remember COVID-19.

i dont agree with that at all.

we still talk about the spanish flu. This is unprecented. Shutting down the economy and restarting it. Never been done.

Greatest economic experiment of all time.

Thesis' will be written about this for years to come.

Yea, but what I mean is 9/11 made people scared to fly for a while. In 2004, do you think anyone was really worried about terrorists hijacking airplanes? I sure wasn't.

They made a lot of changes post 9/11. People that didn’t fly before don’t know, but everytime I fly I’m reminded. We will fly again, but there will probably be some changes

Now that it is Covid -19 , any hint of covid 20 + along with a media splurge may become the normal . It is a shame but it is a much easier way to kill off an enemy with news of a new virus , than by bullets in a desert .

I am not saying it won't be studied, and it isn't a big deal. I am just saying, in a few years, nobody is going to be afraid to fly or go to a restaurant. As for the lockdowns, I hope they're teaching about them in the sense of how ridiculous they were and to never repeat that part of history.
