    Nope. Trying to get out during a bump. There's been huge swings one way or the other, it'd be dumb to sell on one of those dips.

    haha nah, I will be selling during a bump aka moving a high percentage (not all) into treasury notes/bills, just waiting for the right time. Too many negative factors going on at once for me to stomach.
    Like lots of corporate debt with increasing interest rates/on the verge of junk rating, no more free money from the Fed, trade war, cooling economy, buybacks are getting more expensive to finance (aka no more price manipulation), absurd P/E ratios, yield curve making a beeline for inversion, etc. etc. Timing an exit is going to be tricky though.

    What's funny is that I moved a lot to cash in mid September more or less on accident... I was in a bunch of separate options that got called out, and I was in the process of moving, working graveyards, etc and never ended up jumping back in with a lot of cash (for me anyway). My holdings are tech heavy so I have been getting smoked, but I am not heavy in speculatives so I am surviving. I am heavy in like Microsoft and such so they tend to not feel the drops as bad. I'm just lurking in the shadows for a bit. You been watching those bond rates?

    yeah, I have the 2/10 year chart for the last year on my bookmarks toolbar lol. That plot has been thickening. You got lucky for not jumping back in, October was hell. It looks like we might be in for another hell month, unless they figure out this nonsense with this Chinese CFO getting arrested. So much uncertainty.

    As I sit here and type responses on my Huawei laptop... LOL

    I kind of plan on riding the storm out for a bit. I have been eyeballing jumping in on Disney for a covered call or two just to play around in the market, but for the most part I am going to spin my wheels most likely until 2019. We have fallen far enough that I would like to see some clear trajectory with a reason "why" before I get long in much of anything again.

    I am way overweight CVX, XOM, and ENB. They all pay great dividends while you wait for price appreciation. Especially ENB, great buy right now.

    Also, check out AVGO, it is paying over 4% right now, and has some growth ahead hopefully!
