I'm trying to close my DIS call at a 25% profit...I missed it by minutes yesterday....I'm hoping for a run up to end the day and then I can buy another call when the stock crashes when florida closes the parks in a week..

UGAZ, DGAZ etc are still searchable as UGAZF/DGAZF, I do not know if they are tradeable on my webull account.

yeah, it's the type of ETF you do not want to hold for more than a week, at most.

I am pretty sure I am at an ATH today. I don't know for sure, but since about Jan. this has to be an ATH. Not sure if that's good as a dividend investor, a lot of it is getting to expensive to buy now.

I just noticed something interesting. The NASDAQ peaked in Mar. 2000, and didn't get back to that level until 14 years, 11 months later, Feb. 2015. That's enough to keep me away from the "growth" tech stocks, even though it might be different this time. I see that same crash happening again, and probably soon.

I decided to pick up one NVDA July 31 $415 call this morning. They where down $7.85 when I picked them up for a $1085 premium.

They closed up $12.99 for a $20+ dollar swing. That call closed at $1830. That's a nice $745 or 65% gain in 8 hours. I didn't sell at close though. I think they'll go a bit higher.

Being new (decided to start doing my own investing since I didn't opt into the company retirement plan), my initial strategy (started in April) was to buy around prices at 2015 levels. I felt the market was artificially inflated too much. I've still been able to average down on days I throw money at the market. I am expecting a big drop in Sept or Oct, but we will see. If that doesn't happen, I will still put money on stocks below the mid point of the 52-week range. It looks like there are still a bunch of options available to me.

    stocks.jpg

Notes: AGRX, TTMZF, UAVS, and WMG were all bought on a whim and completely against my strategy (they don't pay dividends) and those are the only ones in the red. I have limit sells on all of them and I am hoping AGRX and UAVS hit in the next week or two. UAVS has been moving up pretty good lately with their new CEO and move to KS. I think WMG will hit my limit when concerts start up again. TTMZF has potential to hit big (pennies), but I am not holding out hope. That was my one pump and dump I am allowing myself to get suckered into, and I went into it knowing I may be throwing out money, so at least I am not butt hurt on that one. :D Actually, it's in the green, except for the damn fees since it's OTC.

The only other advice I’d give is be patient. I’ve seen some of my holdings down and up 50%+ in some cases, but as the years go by, more up than down.
