I have both AMD and Intel calls. My lord don’t wanna see what the intels are worth this morning . I have 12 10/16 65 calls. Hopefully they can recover over the next month or two........

Just throwing money at it, quite frankly. I know its not smart..

The monthly trend looks very similar to EXK, with a large consolidation on the MACD before this recent breakout.
That was pretty much the reason I went in a bit bigger. Still really nothing to most folks, I would think.

However, I've started going back through the posts and writing down certain points in conversations regarding divi's and such, going to sit down next couple days off and hopefully develop something much more stable than a dart board and blindfold.

I have you guys to thank for it.. so, ty.

I am looking at the
ABUS Sep 18 2020 $5 Puts @1.15. I have an order in already. If it hits, great...not going to chase it...But this stock popped on a MRNA vaccine patent issue...It's a what if what if price movement...What if MRNA gets a vaccine, and it works, and they sell it to the GOVT and they lose the patent appeal THEN ABUS MIGHT get money of MRNA can't work the books to eliminate profits...if the lose the lawsuit...This one screams short...
SO it will be $10 by close, right

Also looking for a Put/Call play on TECS
I have to very carefully watch TECS, the 3x BEAR of tech...It feels like a nervous friday...and a $20 one or two month call on TECS could pay off if there is a sell off today and over the weekend of tech stocks...It could pop to like $23 by monday.....

 

Crude is at $41.30+....come on NRGU...what's your excuse!

 

It might be the right time. So far tech stocks have seemed to be the safe haven for investing. At some point people will pull back, I think.

 

Yeah, it's all a guessing game but it has to reverse SOME Time..even though the continued depression of the dollar will automatically raise share prices...

also if the unemployment extension fails or causes fractious political relations...the market would also not respond positively...

DIS did a nice job of dropping $5 since yesterday's high...Come on $110 PUT!

 

I'm betting this is a correction and not a reversal. I will have to put on my mental shit suit though. All my calls have AUG 21 expiry. In the next 2-4 days I will loose a shit ton of my gains. It will be hard not to sell but I truly believe it will easily recover by the 2nd week in AUG. If I'm wrong? Well, all my gains in my play account for this year are riding on it.

You betting against a company that just won a patent lawsuit against MRNA. Even if it gets overturned that's gonna take more then a month. What am I missing?

 

It's a house of cards patent win...it's news not value. They won the patent case and now they need MRNA to profit off this to get money...MRNA has to win the COVID race, have a viable vaccine, get the vaccine rolled out, make a profit and THEN Abus can sue them for $$...The bump is short term hype. I have SEP puts...plenty of time for reality to set in...

That's my take on it...so i put my $$ where my keyboard is...

 

Oh and I've already lost 3 of these COVID chasers....so now I'm changing my plan and betting against every bump...I already have them set to close starting at $1.75...yes greedy but they are already at $1.35...18% return already..Too bad I didn't buy 1,000 contracts

Well it was over 41 yesterday so if they're holding it today they're still crying. It's too high right now. All of the underlying shares are super green. I don't think it's a buy until it's back under $30. That's how I'm going to play it from now on

Damn, anyone holding $55 AMD calls? I missed out on this round due to trying to lowball when it was around $3. I sure have been whiffing out quite a bit lately...
