Alright, nice to see some stability at weeks end and a true V recovery on the IRA statement ... end of July report has me actually up past were it was in March before the sh*tstorm. Thx QQQ and NVDA !

 

Was thinking of selling some Costco shares while its hovering around the ATH and pick up some NRZ & SBHD ...wimped out, maybe next week. Looks like others did the same near the close. Thoughts on Costco shares if there is a food shortage due to next teir in the agenda ?

 

Depends on your goals I guess. Costco is fine, but it may have maximized returns for you at this point. Why you thinking about NRZ?

 

Costco is as quality as you can get. I don’t know why I don’t own any. If you’re thinking long term, you’d do well with them. Short term trades, they may have reached a near term high.

 

Agree, Cost will prob hang level or even regress a bit ..it's been a nice constant though. NRZ is still beat down and has good revenue earnings ...should be steady climb upwards with everyone moving around now. Also if the tech bubble is real, want some housing to keep grounded as I'm at least 20 % in that arena.

 

Yeah solid financials too. Look at 97 to 2007 and then 2007 to 2017 and finally to now ... I could see the shares settling to around 2017 prices for another decade or so. While not terrible but would be smart to part a few shares of pure profit on a new gainer long hold if that was to happen.

 

I still shoot a Damon Howatt recurve bow I purchased when I was 15. So 1988. My compound is a Hoyt from 1992 without any of today's facny tech or 80% let-off. I out shoot 95% of the guys I shoot with. If it ain't broke.

 

It’s too hard to predict that. I got into Target about 2 years ago, maybe $70 a share. It’s around $130 now. I did the same with Walmart, but I got in at about $100. Same with Apple, at $240. Then I have plenty of underperformers. The point is, I could have never predicted any of them. Just buy quality, and buy more, and you’ll do well.

I wish I stuck with archery when I was young...We did everything cool in scouts...Rifles, Archery, Fire, Hatchets....and we weren't molested so that's a +
