    I was looking at all the tech/pc/chromebook stocks because there are reports that they cannot meet demand as school opens. Everyone waited until the last minute to get a remote schooling device and all the chromebooks and laptops are selling out and orders cannot be filled in time...Processor demand is through the roof...

    Yep. Then they purchased Mellanox. Now they are in talks to pick up ARM. Between server side and licensing they are adding billions to there value. If they beat earnings it's over $500 Thursday morning.

    They way it's running right now? With the momentum it's running with? IDK man. I'm just watching the chart.

    I sold two $455 covered calls so I'll close those. Then I'll keep 2 of my $420 calls to buy back those shares. The rest I think I'll ride until after earnings.

    Anyone think its wise to get in Apple before the split? Or is it a bit inflated at the moment due to that? My brother was adamant that it would sharply rise afterwards...I dont buy that though.

    It’s a guessing game. Could take off after split as shares are more accessible, and then sell off from profit takers that bought in in the last few weeks. If it’s a long term stock for you, don’t be afraid to buy. If you are looking for quick profit, it could go either way.

    150% up though, I dunno - up to you. I think at a certain point even on a charge up, set a stop loss and don't be bummed if it executes and you lose out on some more donuts. At least on some of your contracts. Maybe not all. At least that's what I'd do (remember don't listen to anything I say). Secure some gains and gamble on the rest?

    I don't see a sharp rise, but definitely a strong stock to buy. If you're going to buy AAPL, just DCA it over the next few weeks maybe? I don't think before or after the split will matter much in 20 years, in theory.

    Remember my rant about that billionaire dude that went on squawk box or some other crap and just said "stocks are overpriced" and tanked the market? Dude had no position of power other than he was rich. But an interview on a new story absolutely shit tanked the market that day. To be a fly on that wall when he and all his friends bought puts, I mean come on...that was the maximum shenanigans I have seen in a long time.

    Yeah I saw GOLD is way up. Fortunately, XME doesn't hold any GOLD. :bananadead: but it is up nice on the day.

    I'm watching the situation very closely. I still see upside before earnings. If heavy volume comes in and pushes the price down I'll think about bailing. The plan for now is to see what happens Wednesday before close and take some profit. Then hope they crush earnings and take the rest.
