Investment BS Thread - Stocks/Futures/Mutual Funds/Bonds/Commodities/Options/ETFs/401ks/Etc

So my roller coaster ride on my 401K, IRA, Roth IRA stuff has gone from up 2.5% in the middle of Feb to down 28% in late March back to up 2% as of now. I'm still down 2% from where I think I should be based on dividends but being up is better than being down.

 

Bought the 15SEP20 CRWD $115 call @7.00...It's running up to earnings....

 

GodHELPme...added 300 shares of NRGU @$2.99....Now in at 905@$3.47...But I'm riding them all the way to....

$3.50?? I'm in and out on this now until I see real recovery...Every indicator that tells me to buy/sell also sends me to sell/buy NRGD...Worked this time..

 

I'd take a loss at $3.40 just to get the hell out. Then scalp PEIX with me. It's been quite a little windfall for me the last 2 weeks.

 

What do you think is going to happen with the upcoming splits of Apple and Tesla?

 

Looks like NRZ found support today...
It was inching down for days and getting close to my 50% holdings trailing stop that's really in place just in case of another coronaing...

 

Looks like someone timed NLOK perfect at $22.60

 

Not liking this VXX b.s....get stable baby...under $25....

 

It's getting awfully annoying watching NVDA try and move up only to be beat back down to VWAP.

 

That's why you need stocks like DIS, PENN, TSLA...that people want to own independent of technical indicators or data...

 

Yep. NVDA, a company proven to be very profitable, crushes earnings and goes up less then 1%.
LYFT gets a temporary hold put on when they have to stop operating in CA and their stock jumps 8%.

I'm throwing all my technical indicators out and moving my account over to RH. lol

 

There have to be people in their 80's yearning for the days of stocks priced in fractions of dollars.....and trades only executed in full lots!! MSMGA (Make Stock Market Great Again)

 

Well...I did not see ZERO support for oil towards the close...looked like buying was starting...nope...I could have saved $1.50...

 

Don't you worry @TreeFortRichard . I'm working!! I'm working! Also... Yes, I'm an employee but I work for our members, not the stock holders. That's the CFO and CEO's job. That said... I'm pretty sure I'm a bit more invested in how this hog does, than yourself. Don't ever think that I'm not motivated to increase the shareprice.

So I was trying to buy the UBER and LYFT $29/$28 1 month puts but people weren't budging towards the end of the day...

Make sure you make over $100 so you can cover your OTC fees.

If you get enough people thinking it is up for another pump and dump, it may hit high enough to hit my limit sell ($0.06). I am tempted to hold forever to see if I can get out at over $1. It has potential... maybe... They have big name customers, just not a big stock price.

Edit: I doubt it will ever see $0.05 again... which after fees is my break even point.

 

Uber granted a (temp) reprieve in CA court stuff, chances are Lyft and Uber were up even on bad earnings and etc because of the news/knowledge that it was likely to be granted this decision.

 

NVTA? Anything relating to genetics? Maybe that fad is over?

CA is burning. Add that to the year of Armageddon, I think Lyft and Uber will have a hard time out there. I doubt people will be Ubering for an evac. I think they will be having a downward trend for the next month or two.
